Comfort na enemy of progress

You might be wondering, “Is comfort not a good thing?”

Yes, comfort is good ,but it also has its negative side. As a proper Naija babe, I’ll say it again loud and clear: Comfort na enemy of progress.

Not everyone, but most people have goals to accomplish. And one thing about goals is that they never end. As long as a person is alive, there will always be new goals, whether short-term or long-term.

Let’s dive deeper with a simple scenario:   Someone dreams of owning a media house one day and decides to start by working in other media companies to gain experience. But along the line, they start enjoying the comfort of receiving a beautiful salary 💰 and gradually lose interest in that original dream. What happens to that person’s vision? What happens to their goal?

That’s the mistake many of us make ,we stop seeing beyond where we are.

Another example is an undergraduate student who believes university life will last forever. My dear, it won’t. Begin to ask yourself the big question , “What next?” and start preparing now.

Even look at Apple. Like play like play 😂, we’re now at iPhone 17, and I strongly believe that in the next five years, there’ll be iPhone 30 with unbelievable features! That’s because they refuse to get too comfortable, they keep innovating, thinking big, and pushing boundaries.

I’ve met people who get upset about Apple’s constant updates, but that only shows they’ve become too comfortable with where they are.

Key Point:  Think big. Don’t settle. Soar high.
